First Aid / CPR Training
Occupational First Aid
This course educates employees in the proper response to any workplace emergency and is a mandatory requirement for any business who wishes to comply with current health and safety guidelines and standards for employee training.
Occupational First Aid Courses are primarily focused on teaching people how to treat injuries that might be sustained in the workplace.
All our instructors are qualified to deliver this course to Fetac Level 5 which is a HSA requirement
The course includes:
- Cardiac Emergencies
- Asprin Administration
- Introduction to Defibrillator (AED)
- Scene management
- Bleeding & Wounds
- Shock – Fractures
- Soft tissue injuries
- Unconsciousness
- Burns
- Poisons
- Medical Emergencies
- Respiration
- Adult C.P.R.
Duration of course: 3 days is compulsory under H.S.A guidelines.
Certification: 2 Year certification of Competence, recognised by Health & Safety Authority, following successful assessments on Day 3

Typical Audience:
Occupational First Aiders in Industry or in any workplace willing to advance their skills or people with an interest in First aid and first response.
